It would have been but the propane tank on the grill ran out in the middle of Page 495 so we had to send Monitor out to get another one, only the hardware store was closed so she had to sail to another one which was much farther away and, well, you know how it goes.

You'd think 150-year old Ironclads would work faster than this.

That's why you should use wood or charcoal, so you can burn anything in a pinch innit.

Well, thank goodness we have people around who are willing and able to make such treks for our benefit enjoyment consumption.

It was a different time in 1862. I wasn't built for the fast pace of modern life.

My friend Courtney is brilliant.
We're just shooting the shit and whatever and like I realised that depression is just drug withdrawl.
100%
Same cause, same system. Just it's a drug that your body makes.

Shooting fecal matter seems ill-advised. Or at least a waste of good ammo.

You know what I mean, just like chatting.
Wish we were chilling together instead of just texting, we're both kinda homeless crashing at kinda boyfriends places so we only really meet up at the picnics but she's really cool and I wish I could hang out with her more.
I miss my best friend Sid, we did stuff like this all the time, now she got really busy and I feel like we fell adrift... It really hurts.

Boo hiss.

I never really thought about how many different meanings of "monitor" there are until I made this nation, but there are a lot. They all come from the same etymological root, even though the modern meanings have diverged to the point where the connection is not obvious.

Meanwhile, I'm just amused by the fact that people typically refer to ships as "she" and then you actually are a she, so it works.

That is part of why my nation is named after the USS Monitor instead of one of my favorite regiments like 54th Mass or 20th Maine.

Astro is apparently the lifeblood of concerts everywhere. They appease him with gifts in order for the applause to be vibrant, loud and welcoming.
