Wish we were chilling together instead of just texting, we're both kinda homeless crashing at kinda boyfriends places so we only really meet up at the picnics but she's really cool and I wish I could hang out with her more.

I never really thought about how many different meanings of "monitor" there are until I made this nation, but there are a lot. They all come from the same etymological root, even though the modern meanings have diverged to the point where the connection is not obvious.

Meanwhile, I'm just amused by the fact that people typically refer to ships as "she" and then you actually are a she, so it works.
