I'm currently reading a book about America's problem of treating water like we have plenty to waste - the main waste being outdoor watering.

Well things haven't gone so well here. Grandfather is in the hospital for a blood clot. Hopefully it doesn't travel anywhere.

Hopefully it doesn't mean anything but my uncle had a blood clot a month before he died. So my grandmother is a bit upset at the moment. I really hope that this isn't the end.

From what I gather fine. Everything is fine except for the cancer and blood clot

Well the cancer is pretty much not going away but is being kept at bay for the moment. So with that in mind he is fine except for the blood clot

Summers like this makes me wish all the relatives up north hadn't died off. Used to be we could get away with heading to Pennsylvania or Maryland for a week now and then, but now there's nobody up there.

I've come to the realization that choosing between the Stormcloaks and the Empire is sort of like choosing between Republicans and Democrats. There just isn't a good choice to be had except to stay away from both.

Generally, though, one party is going to align with a person's goals much more than the other, and I don't put much stock in the sort of cynicism that says the two aren't much different.

Maybe, but social issues are really fucking important. Social issues can be life or death just the same as economic issues.
