At least as a camp counselor, regardless of how bad the 15 kids of strangers I have to be responsible for get to go back to their parents at week's end.

So I was just thinking, which US state if it all of a sudden just sunk in to the sea or something would take the longest for everyone else to notice to notice and by how much time.

Ah, I've never seen it. I tend to avoid horror movies since I get easily scared. I could be scared by my shadow on a sunny day.

Though, I don't think my shadow has ever frightened me. There was a run-in with a bush behind the student center last semester. My friend and I were walking down the sidewalk and I looked at the bush and screamed. No reason, there was nothing there besides the bush. A bush I'd walked past hundreds of times before that moment and probably hundreds of times sense. Just happening to have looked at it that one time frightened me horribly.

I'd say Hawaii. While sure, everybody wants to go on vacation there it is so far away from the rest of us and quite hardly in the national news light that we wouldn't notice it gone for a while.
