Oh, it's not that it's hard to find sushi in New England.

It's just that there is a certain type of extremely sheltered white people who spend their whole lives in New England and their idea of exotic food is beef with broccoli from a Chinese-American restaurant. A lot of them won't even eat seafood if they don't live right on the coast.

They're not the only people in New England, but they're a noticeable segment of the population.
