There's an easy proof for the Earth's surface being a good approximation of a sphere.

The period of the rotation of the plane of oscillation of a Foucault's pendulum at different latitudes is consistent with the Earth's surface being (almost) a sphere.

The world isn't a sphere. It's a parallelogram.

Well, not a perfect one...

The Sun and the Moon create a kind of bulge at the equator.

Just because NASA said so doesn't mean it's true

It cannot be a cuboid or a frisbee because gravitation. Proof: we can measure its radius from many different points via simple trigonometry. If it were a cube we couldn't get the same results (approx) from all points. Same goes for frisbee shape.

Same positive curvature radius on a surface in all directions => spherical surface. NEXT!

Wrong. It's Earths rotation.
Have you noticed how the Equator isn't aligned with the Sun? Proof: sunrise and sunset appear at different points on the horizon and at different times as seasons change.

Maybe you're thinking of tides.

The Earth being flat is an absolutely (pardon my French) retarded and stupid primitive idea that belonged to the age of the mentally weak and unquestioning.
The Earth isn't perfectly round, and it is no way flat. Any space agency in the world can confirm that.

As someone living in Brexit Britain I can absolutely say that the idea of a spherical world is a #europeanconspiricy created traitorous "experts" who good British people have had enough of listening too. The 'silent majority (TM)' knows that anything Maggie May says is strong and stable including that the world is obviously flat.

you fucking landlubbers are so ridiculous, get a boat and go for a sail out on the ocean, you will clearly see that the earth is curved and if you follow that curve and are very very lucky you will find that it goes around and joins back up to its starting point.

it's round and intelligent people who were'nt confined to continents always knew it was round - maybe not a true sphere but close enough

Well, I've perseonally circumnavigated the globe, as with many others. Also, NASA didn't say the world was round, people already knew that for centuries. Thirdly, nice casual refrence to faking the moon landing without proof.

A couple of quick questions for OP:

  1. How do seasons work on a flat Earth? Because, on a round Earth (and also an Earth rotating around the Sun), this is because the Earth is tilted on its axis (23.5°). In fact, this is why the seasons are completely different in the Southern Hemisphere than they are in the Northern Hemisphere, as one hemipshere ends up getting more light around the other as it orbits the Sun.
  2. Apparently, according to a number of flat Earthists, there's a heavily guarded ice wall surrounding Antarctica which is why nothing's really fallen off. Some say it's 150 feet, other's say higher or lower. My question is: If you think it's the case, then how do you know it exists? Because surely they would've confiscated your camera or wiped your memory or existence if you ever came close to it, right? Also, 150 feet is pitifully small when you've got planes that can go up to 45,000 feet and higher, so it's not like someone could get a plane and try and fly over it.
  3. What would anyone lie the Earth's shape? Seriously, I keep hearing things about how NASA is lying about it because Illuminati/Freemasons/Satan/etc., but what would anyone gain from lying abouts its shape?

Answers on a postcard, please. Anything that says "Do your own research" or is just a single link to a YouTube video or website* gets laughed out of the room and chucked in the bin.

*It's OK if you're using is as a source. But if it's just your answer, forget about it.
