Here's some links to provide more information.
What do you think of this situation, NSG? Is it right to impose different rules on different communities within the same website? Does Reddit have a liberal bias? I'd list a third question but I lack one, so I'll give my opinion.
I think this is probably not the smartest move, and I think Reddit's favoritism towards certain communities is wrong. Now, of course, I rarely use Reddit, and I'm not even a big fan of r/The_Donald, but at this point, I'm pretty sure I dislike Reddit's moderation staff more.

Id like to know what rules they broke before passing judgment. TD just says that they are a special set of rules and don't give any more information. If it's something as simple as their mods got booted for harassment then TD is definitely in the wrong.

That being said, I personally object to censorship in all forms, and using admin powers to stamp out opinions you don't like is just childish, and allowing for actual open discussion is much more effective than circlejerking. This can be applied to both Reddit staff and r/t_d.

A total lack of censorship in the long run just encourages stupid shit like stupid fucks posting their murder sprees on Facebook.

So a murder goes public and people can identify the perpetrator. What exactly is the problem here?
"Stupid shit" is subjective, and censorship =/= filtering spam.
