The reason why I made the distinction is because, in addition to other issues, the context of the use of those terms was specifically on issues related to social justice (women's rights, rights of the child, lgb and transgender rights, anti-discrimination, harassment and hate speech, et cetera). There are other aspects of the issue, but the original post was using the issue of Social Justice as an example, so that is why the clarification was being made.

But make no mistake, the politicians who were targeted are bringing ruin to Germany with their ideas and policy because they're in a position to be implementing it and are. There isn't any excusing this but I understand that this was borne out of desperation.

The way to help these people is to force the nations neighboring Iraq and Syria to take them in instead. The Turks, Saudis, and Qataris were after all, sending money to ISIS and it is their fault that they're willing to destabilize the entire region because they want Assad deposed so badly.

The refugees have been coming in since the start of the whole mess with ISIS in 2014. It's been three years since, and those problems haven't come to Europe. There's no real expense Europeans are paying. The immigrants are integrating well, and everyone is mutually benefiting in Europe from the whole situation.
