However, Argentina should receive primary rights over the maritime zone (while still allowing necessary back and forth between the UK and the islands), since that's what they really should be going after.

Though personally, Malvinas is a better name than the Falkland Islands. But that's just me.

Oh yeah?
You've learned so much, its true!
You invaded Iraq, toppled the government, cause a vacuum of power, contributed to the rise of ISIS, and now...
You want to invade Syria, topple the government already fighting ISIS inside its own borders...and then there's cake, I assume?
I wonder how that war could possibly go sour.

If you would kindly wake up, you would realise that the Iraq War is the precise reason we want Blair imprisoned/forcibly disappeared.
We, among many other nations all said no to the war. Blair and Bush were in each others pants, they would have gone to war with or without public support. Which is what they did. And you do seem to forget about the US involvement in these affairs. Ah yes, how could I forget....
Also, your nation should know quite a bit about disappearances.

It is important to understand that both sides have different viewpoints and ideas. I've seen many claim that the british got there first, while our history will always say that we governed them after we became independent from Spain. This is mostly irrelevant, because neither side has any conclusive proof that couldn't be forged. The history of the islands is actually very confusing and misty (Just read both the english and spanish wikipedia article on the islands; You'll find a lot of differences).
As for self-determination, this is tricky. The british appeal to democracy, while we say that this argument is ridiculous because the original kelpers were banished by the british, and the Empire itself didn't care about the islands or it's citizens until they could be used to strenghten Thatcher's weak popularity.
As for territory, here's the deal: Neither government cares about the kelpers. They want the resources in the islands, and perhaps the popular support of mantaining the empire/pride of the patria. So that is the value of the territory. We talk about continental plates to see if we get more support, but that really isn't a decisive argument.
Finally, I refuse to talk about nationalism because I find that to be the dumbest of concepts. But my views are besides the point: All I can say is that nobody really involved in this issue cares about the national spirit, but they think of it as a good tool to keep a claim on the islands.

Ohhhh, I am not even going to get into that one.
You can't use that as another fucking excuse, engage your brain and give an intelligent argument, as opposed to "uhhh.... BREXIT!".
Doesn't work.
Although I will say this; I would have initially voted remain, but now the EU is proving to be even more corrupt/malicious than I previously thought. Hence, I am BOTH pro Brexit and EU.
