What the fuck is wrong with him? He really thinks that real life is some tv show? You can't just threaten someone and expect them to give you what you want; especially not Mueller

It's Trump being Trump. Bullying, blustering, and threatening is pretty much...all he has in his tool box. He still hasn't caught on that it doesn't work nearly as well on experienced government officials and law enforcement as it does on stiffed investors and contractors.

I'm not sure how well it even worked in his business. Trump wasn't exactly a super successful businessman.

Hiding behind an army of lawyers after stiffing investors and contractors. And even then he'd stiff some of his own lawyers, which is why lawyers are steering clear of him now.

I think I finally realize why so many people get excited over Trump (excited could mean hatefully excited, supportable excited and really every big opinion about him). I think it is because he comes up with catch phrases and ways to express his opinions with interesting sayings.

Just as an example, calling the allegations against him as a witch hunt. Who else would ever call it a witch hunt? Trump knows that he can excite the people, on both sides of the isle, when doing something like this.

Trump is an attention crack whore unable to stay out of the spotlight, which is shooting himself in the foot especially since he tends to outright contradict his staff's attempts to defend him or come up with a coordinated story.

Well, he also started out as filthy rich by most standards. I believe it was brought up a while back, but I believe someone said he'd be richer if he just left his money in a bank and let it accumulate interest.

Perhaps. But the man has a degree from a prestigious university, a massive fortune, a trophy wife, a good relationship with his kids and has managed to be elected as president of the United States of America.
It is hard to see how he is not "succesful". Perhaps he could have done better; but I daresay he did better than everyone on this forum.

1. So what if he did?

2. Impossible to know unless everyone starts on a level playing field. Otherwise it's sort of like marveling at someone who was able to outrun a tree.

That happens to be because for one we all didn't win the genetic lottery and two we are not 60 years old, nor do we have a million dollars to invest from "daddy", nor a future company to inherit.

If you want to talk about how "successful" he is, go ahead, but his is not a rags-to-riches story.
