This was my result before the new update (10 more questions), getting a Demo-Socialism, which is nearly what my RL and nation views are, although there are tiny flaws:
Image

This was my most recent result after the new update; visible drastic changes, balanced like what I would expect:

Social Liberalism? That's okay....

...BUT the only thing that does not fit my views on the above outcome is the Civil Axis; the people are more dominant than the government, of which feels very anarchic. It is because some of the questions not clearly worded that made me choose nothing but the Neutral/Unsure button. They should add more questions and factors in the near future, we all know that.

8 Values Political Test

Postby Parhe » Sat Apr 29, 2017 1:50 am

Apparently, this thing categorized me under liberalism. I thought of myself as more libertarianism (which I thought was basically the same thing but isn't on this), but I think my Civil Axis was more balanced, leaned to liberty, because of my support for extensive government surveillance.

It does need some work, but it's not bad necessarily. I'm usually right of the line, so I'm not sure where this would throw me if we overlapped it with the Compass.

Basically, the test is rather similar to the Political Compass (even "borrowing" a number of questions from it), but ranks your stance on eight opposing values to match you to a political ideology, rather than just plotting you on a quadrant.

I realise I am not helping my case here, but that took me thirty seconds, not however long the quiz would have taken. And - okay - doing this means everyone knows I've now just hung around on NSG instead of going out to ride ponies or fight dragons or whatever, but *shrug* 70 questions is insane.

*meh* I'll put an episode of Sports Night on and do it now :)

The first time I took the test it said I am a Libertarian Socialist. That means I am an anarchist essentially, which I am not. I took the test a second time and it said I am a Social Libertarian. I don't think such an ideology exists.

So - answered 70 questions, and it turns out I am a social liberal. Who'd've thought?

No surprise there. I'm pretty middle of the road when it comes to diplomacy and economics but when it comes to social issues and liberty im very very libertarian

Not a surprise at all, I'm a Social Liberal.

https://8values.github.io/results.html? ... 0.0&s=74.8

I say that's about accurate value wise.

Some of the questions suffered from being vague, but in the end, I was satisfied with my results.

These are my results.

Some of the questions were a bit vague, but overall I think the quiz is fairly accurate.

So I did the test before it was updated, with the old categories and 60 questions, and got "Social Libertarian", now with the update I got "Liberalism".
