Drafted into the military. What field do you choose?

I've heard they serve steaks and lobsters on nuclear weapon carrying submarines. Don't know if its true or not, someone from the US Navy said so.

That might be a good place to be. Besides, doubt the nuclear weapons would be fired. Plus we're a high priority asset so I'm sure the commanders would try to keep us relatively far from combat.

If you want to be on a sub for the luxury, fuhgeddaboudit. Luxury is a completely foreign concept on a sub; attack or ballistic missile.

I just don't like the thought of being exposed in the open. I feel just fine about serving on a sub, a position which has historically been the most dangerous in the military during large conflicts, but being infantry and facing a hail of bullets? No thanks I'll pass.

I got a friend who's a submariner. He likes it. I would go nuts.

Supposedly the logic behind the camo was that paint stains would blend in, so you wouldn't have to throw a perfectly usable garment away because of a paint stain like you would with dungarees.

I already said that I would like to work in a M.A.S.H. (I know it's not called that anymore) as a medical officer.

However, I doubt I could enlist or get drafted.
I would have to be off of my medication for at least a year before taking the physical or whatever it's called. Also, my medication can't be waived.
