To be fair to Gauth it does seem to be exceedingly common that someone who goes out of their way to seem heavily against something is actually into it.
Like all those anti-LGBT Republicans who turn out to be banging dudes on the side.

^This.
Whatever problems there may be regarding the treatment of women within the porn industry, those should be addressed by better regulations or by using private organizations such as labor unions, support groups, or civil rights groups to help porn stars who run into problems.

Since I really care about understanding what is the opinion of the majority, there's a poll, with almost all possible answers.

It's a facebook event for a conference/panel discussion on the topic, so I don't think this is a fair criticism.
It's not like she linked a Facebook meme saying "pornography increases rape by 39% no really trust me".

Anyway, I'm at work, so there is no way I'm going to google this right now - but can anyone actually provide evidence of a correlation between economic background and employment in porn?

Admittedly, I saw 'facebook' and skipped over it.

Hehe. Well I take your point, but there's lots of reasons why men might refuse sex. one is that they are already in a committed relationship; they may also not like or trust the woman (or man if they're gay for instance) even if they think they're hot, etc. The point is in popular media women are not depicted as being required to respect men or boys' reasons for refusing sex.

I worded that kinda wrong. I was actually trying to agree with you.

That would depend. If she was drawing absolutes from a scientific, peer reviewed research paper -- I'd dismiss it outright. If she was suggesting a hypothesis on such, then I could go along. Don't make absolutes unless you've got some hefty meta-analytical goodies for me to read.
