I have a heroes 5 install I like to play time and again (the orcs crack me up), but I decided to do a windows 10 fresh install (did that to fix a random crashing that resulted from upgrading from windows 8, silly move on my part yes, but i was in a hurry). However, now i'm getting errors regarding certain .dll files not being available for homm5 on the new fresh win10 (not upgrade) install.

Any suggestions?

Your suggestion sounds entirely plausible. There is, after all, the very well known

to be serious, i will do an install drunk, if there is a more than minor issue, i will wait till i am sober to fix it. sometimes that takes a while
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.

But why

Why do anything drunk, just be sober for the rest of your life and get uncomfortable with your thoughts lucidly!

Protest went well today.

Two newspapers had reporters present and an Asheville television news channel showed up and did some videoing and interviewing ~ some student interviews were on the 6 o'clock news this afternoon. One of the newspaper articles has been published online and is probably going to be in tomorrow's newspaper - I was quoted in it. The other newspaper article will probably be uploaded online tomorrow and published in Friday's paper.

Oh, Charlotte news outlets are also contacting us for information.

I would go into a rant here, but I will just post the quotations by students interviewed to save you from my rambling.

“I think everyone feels it has been divisive, and people are worried about staff leaving,” freshman Caroline said, “I just don’t think the administration should be telling professors what they can and can’t believe about Scripture. I think that’s what the covenant is doing. It’s kind of forcing people to say something that they don’t actually believe, and I’m worried about that.”

“I do not believe that your statement of faith should be something pre-written,” Bailey said. “I believe it should be what you actually believe, and I believe we’re going to lose a lot of diversity and a lot of amazing teachers here because of it (the covenant).”

“We didn’t know about it until this semester,” said sophomore Logan ... said the administration shouldn’t force staff and faculty to believe a certain way "because Christians believe in different ways, and the Bible is not to be taken literally. It’s to be interpreted.”

“It’s concerning because they make these decisions in private,” Adrian. “This whole thing happened apparently for them for two years… now it comes to the point it comes to light and I have teachers leaving. I’m here trying to be a college student, get my degree, do my best, and the very people that have taught me everything and are here to support me and guide me through my college life, they’re leaving out of the blue."

Kelly is a junior at Montreat College. "It has affected me greatly in that sense the people that have kept me in college thus far are leaving," she says. "I became an environmental studies minor by being inspired by Melissa Wilson, and she is one of two females in the environmental studies department who are both leaving Montreat."

"I will say it was a little bit abrupt," Ander says. "I think students weren't explained why they did what they did, it just kind of happened."

Decided to remove last names from the students giving the quotes, though I am sure with the information I've given in the past that the news articles can be easily found and the removal of last names was pointless.

It's a long story, really, though I am sure I quick search through my posts (in the last few weeks) and just looking for the longer ones rather than the one sentence ones would give all the context.

Hoping so, I hope to get positive word on acceptance to UNCA by the end of May and then convincing my mom that transferring is the right option is still a hill to climb over. I think the fact that my department here has deteriorated and of all the classes I need to take next semester - only two of the eight are being offered because the other six classes are taught by professors who are leaving. Estimating that it will take me 3 or 3.5 years more to graduate from here and my mom has always been big on the whole "four and done" aspect of college, so I don't think the idea of 5 to 5.5 years of college will be appetizing to her.

Perhaps convince her that from what is currently going on, the college may not even exist in four years (or that the possibility is likely that your department will not be present)

Or attachments bloody autocorrect, at the least, my brain is reading that from the situation.

EDIT: Oh wait yeah that's sort of what you're going to say anyways so blargh, my comprehension fails me. D:
