It's harder to go back, once you get out, otoh advanced degrees pay better in the long run, otoh sometimes you can get the company to pay for some of that degree, otoh now that you have a fiance he does get some say in the issue.

Hopefully soon. I think I was told - ages ago - within a week or two of acceptance but part of me wants to just call financial aid tomorrow and see if they'd tell me if I did.

Exactly. I'm pretty torn over what the best course would be. Additionally, if I were here another year I could remain involved in local politics for the midterm election.
