First, I would like to apologize again to Pasong, even if it won't be accepted.
Second, when I mentioned that, I misspoke. I was trying to express my ludicrously strong fear and dislike of dogs, cats, and arthropods. However, I recognize that the wording was a tad too strong for my purposes. A better way to phrase it would be "Although I have a very strong fear and dislike of dogs, cats, and arthropods, I understand that you and your dog are in a period of emotional distress, and I offer my condolences."
Third, I would like to apologize again to Pasong. While my mother says that it seems "fake" to overapologize, I mean this sincerely, and this appears to be the best I can do, since we are separated by computer screens on different continents.

Nope. Vet is actually a pretty nice place. If pupper weren't sick I would let him play with the other dogs waiting around (they let the doggos just roam around the shop/vet/grooming parlor (three in one!), so it's a really nice place to wait around.

Not liking dogs is one thing. Hating dogs is another thing, saying you "take comfort" in the suffering of dogs is unforgivable.

He might have something that irritates him and/or has something lodged in him.
Either way if you can't take him yourself do you have someone who can?

My girlfriend's in the condo with him, but the vet won't come in until later at 5 (weird scheduling because Sunday), 4 hours from now. Luckily enough, 5 is the time I get off work, so we'll just meet up at the vet later. Poor pupper is being distracted from being miserable with lots of play.

Ok well at least there is someone with him. How old is the dog?

sometimes I just want to grab you by the throat and choke you for a while,
but that would not be proper behaviour. It just wouldn't do.

Hmmm... perhaps tell her to restrict the dog's access to food for a while, until the vet makes a check to see what's up? Puppers had access to the food during the night, yes?
What you're saying reminds me of a nutrient or allergy issue, wherein something the pup is eating in the food is causing the vomitting. To my vague memory, a dog won't absorb well food like that, which is probably making him hungrier and would explain his strange behavior.
I've been around dog breeding and kennels all my life, where this stuff is pretty common. Still, don't know if I'm right tho.... Vet will tell you.
Best of fortunes, yes.
