In fact, after the impeachment of the socialist Dilma Roussef, Venezuela froze relations with Brazil so most of the immigrants are legal and become slaves or prostitutes in the extreme north of the country.
On the Guianas there is not much to say, they are quite irrelevant. Quite irrelevant.
Roraima is a little brazilian state, with only 500 thousand people, and it's too far away from big cities. 20 thousand immigrants or more is a big problem for them, especially with the possibility of a civil war in Venezuela. Brazil needs an emergency plan.

I know, it's a 100% rural state, the whole population lives in the capital or in neighboring towns. But nowadays it is being flooded with Venezuelan and Haitian immigrants fleeing war and starvation and without jobs, they see slaves or prostitutes working 23 hours a day to earn a plate of food, as well as the drugs that pass by. Unfortunately the state is in the middle of the Amazon forest and it is impossible to maintain a border control system.
