It would almost be funny, if Maduro wasn't using it to promote the rewriting of the Constitution in to a single-party state.

I am learning that the Minister for the Interior, Néstor Reverol, has announced this afternoon (London time) that all protests and demonstrations are banned from this Friday in respect of the Constitutional Assembly elections.
However, I do not believe that the protestors will comply given how tired they are of Maduro and his government. The death toll from the current wave of protests has reached 106. Two airlines, Avianca and Delta, are announcing that they are withdrawing from Venezuela due to the economic situation, as well as the condition of the airport infrastructure.
NSG, we are witnessing the death of democracy in Venezuela as I speak.

the most recent cases stem from the ongoing cattle smuggling from neighboring Venezuela, where the government has been unable to adequately vaccinate cattle and wipe out the disease for years.

Can you tell us how bad it is in the country? I am aware that a lot of stories, such as this from Sky News, have covered widespread use of blackmail in order to force the state workers to vote.
Please try to stay safe at this very difficult time. I can feel the pain of a democratic system in Venezuela dying before my eyes. Unity and Justice and Freedom is my main lifeline – that is to say that I deeply depend on them to flourish.

Telling that the Constitutional will bring a undestanding between the government and the opposition. That the Constitutional will bring economic prosperity.
