The Grande Republic 0f Arcadia wrote:So I am choosing Starwars: the clone wars
The reason why I chose it is because it brought depth to the starwars universe and showed you a duo of Anakin and Obi wan that was real, and not have Anakin being a whiny bitch. It showed the clones were not just expendable soldiers but people with sad moments like the death of 5s and 99. They also cut off the show right when it was getting good, and they had more episodes planned. It wouldve been much better to see how Captain rex and some other clones removed the chips in thier heads after finding out order 66 or the battle were Rex saved Ahsoka Tano, along with battle all across the galaxy that were changed because of it. Then we could see the immediate aftermath of order 66.
So what about you NSG?

I'd reboot the whole Star Wars franchise.
Playing the SWTOR game showed me the potential for the Star Wars universe that the current cinematic canon has never even approached - so I'd reboot the Star Wars franchise to be basically the same, but this time make it good.

In no particular order

6.) Attack of the Show w Kevin & Olivia Munn
7.) Eureka
That's about all I have right now.

ooh. I have to agree with you there. That's like rebooting Spiderman 2/3s into a spiderman series. Or rebooting Batman so soon after a major Batman Franchise just recently finished. It would not be good or it would only be done for money.
Also, certain movies I would hate to see reboots of. Star Wars being one of them. The old trilogy may have their fair share of problems, but they are classics. The prequel trilogy sucks and we shall never speak of Jar Jar Binks, but they did expand on the Star Wars universe and show what new technology can do in cinema.

I honestly prefer Candace over Olivia...

The first Star Wars film was extremely okay. The second one was the best they ever did. Everything else has been terrible.
And then SWTOR came out, and I realised it wasn't the universe that was awful, just the treatment. It's technically possible there could be a Star Wars franchise that wasn't awful.

I don't think what you want is a reboot of the franchise. What you want is for an expansion of the extended universe on the movie screen.
The first film was amazing for the day and yes, the second one was the best of the best. I would not say that everything else was terrible, only certain parts of each. It's what happens when you look at movies made during a different time compared to now.

Nah, I saw Jedi when it came out. It was awful back then, too. Fucking teddybears, man. The whole movie was stupid.
As for whether Star Wars was amazing for the day... it came out in, what, '77? So the same years as Close Encounters, and within 2 years of Silent Running, Westworld, Dark Star, Slaughterhouse Five, and Solaris, Alien, The Black Hole, and Star Trek.
Star Wars was 'okay' for the day.
I don't just want the universe expanded. I went Empire remade, because it was actually quite good - and all the rest either completely re-imagined, or replaced with something less shit.

Overall the basic plot of Star Wars was great, they just made a lot of bad choices showing that plot. Also, I would like Bioware's KOTOR/TOR to make it to a movie, as well as I'd like them to do the Yuzhann Vong war for the new trilogy instead of what they currently are doing.

I want all these to be their own movie series.

Right? Bioware did a fantastic job with the class stories in that MMO, each one honestly was worth it's own film

Yep.
I honestly feel like Disney is missing a giant chance to actually go all out with SW movie-wise, but the dollar and nostalgia is apparently mightier than the pen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Though, some people are trying to get Disney to work with Bioware (And the other studios that worked on those trailers) to get a Netflix series based around KOTOR and TOR, so that might be a thing.
