It is just an overpriced bus ride; air travel has gone to hell. How can cheap airlines make money and treat travelers decently but United and Delta and Northwest overcharge, treat us wretchedly, and get away with it?

I am glad those people got fired. I hope they get individually sued to, just as United was sued. Make them paupers for life.

For the record, the officers weren't United employees, they were city aviation employees. United isn't blameless here, but their employees were not the ones who committed what amounts to an act of violence and tried to cover it up.

If the flight was not overbooked why was he forced to leave?

Because the company decided they needed to transport their own people with the plane.

What do you mean the flight wasn't overbooked? You mean to tell me that United Airlines brutally dragging a paying passenger off a plane wasn't defensible? I'm shocked, SHOCKED.

People need to stop booking Fight Club seats.

We don't talk about those seats.

Complementary bar of soap.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Just don't drop it, don't give United another reason.

A pox on them all.

I saw a guy at O'Hare arrested as a vagrant. He was washing his face in the men's room, which I guess was a tipoff. It was winter, and although the terminal was not cozy, it was better than outside. As far as Icould see, he was not making any trouble.

Common mistake I'm sure. People often times fail to read, and click the Fight Club button instead of Flight Club when booking. Sadly it's a mistake that isn't really talked about.

As for the reprecussions for the people involved... that's on them. Lying and padding reports are hell of a lot harder when you have video evidence stating otherwise.
