Most schools do, I imagine, but...again, this seems like a symbolic measure. I don't like it when kids are dicks to one another, but its inevitable, so I don't see this as enforceable.

For real. I mean, most seniors in HS really refrain from bullying, most of us recognize that its immature. But I look at the freshman class, and there's some guys who go beyond just being an asshole to the shier kids. With social media, y'know, there's whole new ways for kids to be picked on constantly.

To be fair and absolutely precise: yes, suicide can be a form of natural selection.
The main problem is that even killing the bullies would be a form of natural selection: excluding the bullies from the gene pool.
But who would do so would have the life ruined.

It's even to avoid people reacting to bullying by killing the bullies that we should take more steps to prevent bullying, and that's especially important in USA since there are a lot of guns around: it takes so little to a desperate and severely bullied teen to take the gun of the parents and then shoot the bullies. Just think about it for a moment.

I am merely suggesting that all children be bullied, based on you and Saiwania and any number of other people over the years suggesting that bullying builds character, teaches children to stand up for themselves, and generally toughens them up.I don't know why you're backing off that suggestion and trying to water it down into some namby-pamby "assertiveness course" to prevent bullying. Prevent bullying? If bullying is so good at toughening kids up then we should be encouraging it, not preventing it. We should require it. Follow through and demand that no child leave school without being bullied.

Tell someone who actually cares about society and humanity in general to do that, I'm not wasting my time and energy on pushing some idea.

Entire history of humanity is eliminating survival of fittest, and removing the obstacles. Going by your 'logic', perhaps we should drop kids in middle of the woods in their undergarments to survive for 18 years - survival of fittest and building of character.

Actually teaching kids basic survival lessons is a great idea. I've served with the boyscouts myself for years and learned a great deal there. Teaching kids basics like how to safely make a campfire, how to make basic knots, identifying what flora's poisonous and what's edible etc.

Right, teach them how to light a fire, teach them which plants are poisonous. Not just leaving them in the woods and letting nature take its course, "survival of the fittest".

So, once again, when done in a humane and efficient way, a great idea.

My school allows the usage of peanuts, but only if you immediately wash your face and hands. Despite this, they still have a No-Peanuts table anyways. A bunch of kids sit there daily and eat, get this, peanut/peanut butter products

You presume too much. I am perfectly capable of writing out my own opinions, your help is not needed in this.

I am starting to get a feeling you don't really know much about how bullying works amongst younger children. Getting some fullgrown man to bully little kids isn't going to be relevant to the real deal, it's like trying to vaccinate someone but instead of giving them the vaccination you give them a pumped up mutated version of the disease. They got no chance of fighting that.

If they miss out on those lessons, though luck for them. There will be other things along the line to teach them similar lessons so they'll have their chances.

Yes, teach. That's why we're humans and not a bunch of monkeys, we have developed an excellent means of communication amongst eachother, allowing us to teach the younger generations so that they don't wind up dead for testing if some plant is poisonous or not. Humanity has developed this significant advantage and we should use it.
