Is that legal? No due process in Russia?

No, but who's going to convict them over slaughtering a few terrorists like pigs? The first step is to make sure that they did it. The second step...

Some of Putin’s opponents expressed concern that the Kremlin might use the attack as an excuse to curtail a nascent movement that brought tens of thousands of people into the streets eight days earlier to protest official corruption.

“The actions of the authorities as far as any mass protests are predetermined,” tweeted opposition activist and former legislator Dmitry Gudkov, earning a rebuke from Russian state television, which called his remark a calculated and cynical ploy.

There are concerns that Kremlin might use this attack as a catalyst to curtail the movement of protesting official corruption, though.

According to Gudkov, who polls at all of 2%. The whole self-dubbed "true opposition" is one giant joke. As for the protests, when it got serious in 2007, Putin's Party simply held counter protests. And that was it.

Assad is a ruthless dictator who is killing his own citizens. ISIS may be a blight on middle east but this doesn't suddenly make him a hero.

If Syria is to ever stabilize and become a proper Democratic country, both ISIS and Assad's regime should be removed.

Obviously. But ISIS should be removed first, since Assad has shown a willingness to compromise, and ISIS has shown a willingness to rape.

I am. We don't deal with legality on things like terrorism. You get due process if you rob a bank. You get due process if you avoid taxes. You get due process if you're driving drunk, but don't hurt anyone. You don't get due process if you're a terrorist. When we knew that a black widow was a suicide bomber, and that a text was going to set off the bomb, we sent the text disguised a spam. How's that for due process?

Here's the thing though, what if others are suspected of being accomplices, but they are (d), Russian citizens living in Russia?

Executing citizens without trial isn't something the US, the UK, any European nation, or any Commonwealth nation does. Hence I'm wondering who this "we" is, that TKGG is speaking for ...

And I still suspect that (d) would be illegal in Russia.

Isn't it awful hypocritical of those "freedom fighters" to oppose a brutal kleptocracy by supporting something even more brutal and kleptocratic? Almost like they don't really have anything against brutality or kleptocracy, just using it as a propaganda line to justify what they really care about, which is fighting against a government that they view as insufficiently islamist.

To be fair, even some more mainstream tenets of Islam really aren't compatible with fundamental tenets of Western culture. Look at Malaysia's PM, and his refusal to ban child marriage because it has Islamic heritage.
