Well, technically speaking, Hitler killed mostly those whom he did not consider Germans.

And Mao/Stalin on the other hand...they did see their ''replacables'' as Soviet/Chinese nationals.

So one killed non-Germans, and the other killed their own people.

I would be weary of following the Nazi definition of German, since it is rather arbitrary, but I suspect you were pointing out the Nazis genuinely thought they weren't killing Germans. I mentioned war deaths because they were a direct result of decisions by Hitler and the Nazis. Many soldiers were brainwashed by propaganda or conscripted, which happened in all the belligerent nations. I should clarify that I also have no respect for the Soviets. They killed tens of millions of people for a stupid economic system that genuinely doesn't work in reality.

Actually it fucking succs where I am. Its been raining for a three weeks. People are getting sucked into the ground because of the mud. I had to drag some poor kid that was stuck up to his waist out, poor bastard lost his shoes to it. I'm not sure what the proper right wing response to weather disasters is but my left state hasn't been doing such a good job of managing them. The weather is causing weird and unexpected things to pop up.

In one book I read about a US soldier who fought alongside the Soviets, he noted that the dudes driving the (US built) half-tracks and Russian tanks were all proper white Russians, or 'Grand Russians', however the poor sodding infantry jumping from there tanks were mostly Mongolian and were seen as cannon fodder. He noted that whenever the Commissar wasn't around, it could get pretty bloody, however whenever the Commissar was around, they never acted up, as the Commissars wanted who show off 'racial and ethnic unity of the many Republics of the USSR' against the Germans.

From 1958 to 1962, the Chinese, under the leadership of Chairman Mao, initiated the Great Leap Forward, an economic program that resulted in the deaths of 55 million people. In comparison, the Nazis killed 11 million people in that same time frame. Though not to diminish the tragedy of the latter, one could quickly see who was worse quantitatively.

Categorical imperative. Mao was trying to modernize China and makes things better. The means he used to get there were not particularly immoral, only the end result was.

That tens of millions figure is disputed since we've had access to NKVD and KGB archives that well documented the events since the end of the Cold War. These archives state that overall, like 7-9 million people were killed as a direct result of actions undertaken by Soviet intelligence and secret police forces.
