I've got a phrenology head on my desk as we speak. Pseudoscience can be very interesting, in some ways.

I find it interesting in the same way that online tests are. In that, it doesn't have any substance, but still fun to see.

The mental gymnastics of those who defend or spread it is of particular interest to me.

If they weren't genocidal, I'd have supported them over the Bolsheviks. My main reason for preferring a USSR victory is that the Nazis had made numerous plans to ethnically cleanse Eastern Europe through exterminations, deportations, apartheid, forced sterilization, etc. If all they wanted to do was introduce Germanic civilization to the Russians and get rid of their culture, I could get 100% behind that.

I actually remember reading at one point that many Russian/Slavic civilians at first welcomed the German soldiers with open arms as liberators from Bolshevism.

The people who welcomed the German troops were the minorities in Western Russia who historically had been oppressed by the Russian government be it the Bolsheviks or the Tsarist government before.

It wasn't from 'vile juedo-bolsehvism' or whatever Nazi catch-all you use, it was a history of oppression and overall degradation.

The age of consent at 18 is already a law that's no longer normal; most people become sexually active at younger ages than that, and many states already allow child marriage.
