Eh, that's fair enough. But in that case, I can't see why the left's obsession with theories is any less a stereotypical overstatement.

In the West, it's part of the left coalition due to it being a POC minority culture.
A nation founded in the early 1800s by Federalist immigrants from the United States. Has since developed an identity of its own and imperial ambitions. Now a neoliberal imperial power that justifies its aggression by putting it the name of tolerance and social justice.

Leftists in the third world tend to be the most pro-Western, while leftists in the West tend to be anti-Western.

Funny how that works.

This is patently false. After all, Western countries chiefly the US had contributed, directly or indirectly, in the litany of atrocities perpetrated by right-wing governments in developing countries, during the Cold War and occasionally even after then. The world is not divided evenly in a dichotomy between Muslims and the West, you know.

"Anti-West" and "pro-West" are disingenuous terms anyway. More often, they state preferences for empires they'd like to oversee the global hegemony, as opposed to opposition to all empires. This is true for many rightists and leftists.

You should ask United Muscovite Nations about the 'Red Tsar'.

He never actually became Tsar, he was just the heir to the throne. And he wasn't really Left-Wing, so much as he saw the economic theories of the Left as a way to strengthen the power of the Autocracy.

Aye, because Bashar al-Assad, Raúl Castro, Robert Mugabe and Nicolás Maduro are all falling over themselves to praise the West.

The first three would be considered right-wing in their country.

Prince Higashikuni was an admirer of the Soviet Union and it's centralized economy, while being a loyal member of the imperial family.

An Anglican writing for a site named "Catholic Herald?"

But that aside, I agree with a lot of what he says such as:
Bodily appearances of engenderment are no longer seen as manifestations of a psychic-bodily unity, but as meaningless physical circumstances.

He's Anglican but in theology he's basically a Catholic minus Papism. Anglicans have a prominent wing like this, with a service that's basically Catholic as well.
