1.Fascism is about creating a totalitarian culture of subserviency to the leader and to the ruling elites. Against culture (see Goebbels: "whenever I hear 'culture' I grab my gun") or by exploiting bits of culture as tool. Intellectuals, artists, free thinkers have always been one of the first targets of fascists.
2.Yes, I'm quite stubborn in my opposition to fascism. There are some values that are non-negotiable - liberty, equality, solidarity, rule-of-law, democracy. Fascism opposes all of those. So I'll wear my stubbornness as a bloody medal and fight the fascists wherever they may be.

Well it's extremely difficult if not impossible for anyone to be against culture. Fascism has/had its own culture with its own intellectuals, artists and free thinkers. Take for example, Gentile, D'Annunzio, the Futurists etc.

Really I'll only hold that true in the sense that Stalin helped Hitler's rise to power.
If Stalin hadn't backed Nazi Germany in the 30s the Nazis never would have been able to kill all the people they did. Therefore Stalinism is in a sense responsible for many of the crimes of Nazism.
