For me, it'd be like doing something extremely out of the ordinary and therefore losing credibility with myself for doing such.

For somebody who strives for a reversal of the status quo and a return to the glory of Prussia, you have a strange aversion to trying something out of the ordinary. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm still shocked I joined the Army.

I've always wondered why Europeans LOST darker skin after leaving Africa.

There are probably just some variables involved that we aren't aware of.

More advantageous. It's harder to absorb vitamin D through the sun if you have darker skin. Makes it even worse in climates with lower amounts of sun exposure.

I have the conquistador mindset, as some Spanish people have pointed out. As long as the children are raised with the right ideals and cultural identity, their skin tone doesn't matter to me.

"Racial purity" is an absurd concept, and will remain so at least until we actually meet extraterrestrial life, assuming it exists at all. genetic diversity in one's ancestry is a good thing. There is no inherent inferiority or superiority to European, Asian, African, or other broad ethnic groups.

Sure but that means that dark skin is no longer an encouraged trait because it's no longer advantageous.

I'm no biologist, so this may be mildly incorrect.

But think of it like sunglasses. Dark skin is like dark sunglasses, there's a lot of sun and thereby a lot of radiation, and you need to be protected from it, but you still get enough light to see by - in this metaphor, light is standing in for the synthesis of Vitamin D in the skin.

You don't wear dark sunglasses on a cloudy day unless you're a hipster.
The melanin quantity simply isn't necessary, and will inhibit Vitamin D production from the limited intensity of light. Thereby, melanin will decrease and skin will lighten, to maintain Vitamin D production.

When our ancestors descended from trees, it is believed they were light-skinned but covered in fur (diverging from other apes, of course). After leaving trees, we lost fur, and skin darkened to compensate.

For me anyways, my lineage looking drastically different is too upsetting of a change for me to bear. For many in my family anyways, they simply erase or ignore branches of the family tree which aren't acceptable to them.

A few family relatives of mine have probably race mixed, but the only thing that happens in their case is that they're disowned at worst and their parents pretend that they or their mixed race children don't exist. As such, a truly complete picture of my family tree doesn't exist.
