Culture is not defined by skin color only, you know.

You can assimilate others into your culture, and anyways, most people date within their own socioeconomic background and culture anyways.

It is a survival mechanism to ensure that your skin color and other basic traits survive to the next generation undiluted, nothing more or less. Infants for example, recognize that something is wrong if they're held by someone of another race. They instinctually know that it isn't their real mother or father.

That would be interesting to see sourced, because all of the evidence suggests that face recognition in infants is entirely based on habituation.

Also, the problem with marrying people from other cultures had to do with the culture itself, not the race. So nice try. What God is saying would be equivalent of saying "if you are Christian do not marry with an Atheist because they can lead you astray from me or lead your son into Atheism", not "do not marry niggers because if you do your child is going to be a dirty mulatto and I will be angered because the child is a reject since birth".

A national identity =/= a racial identity.

The Israelites defeated the Canaanites and Philistines and bred them out, or tried to anyways, because they were culturally different, not racially different.

Also, by your logic, all russians are devilish bastards in the eyes of god for their intermingling with the mongols and borrowing of western culture, etc... pretty much every ethnic group has merged with or mingled with another at some point in history, which makes your entire argument even more moot and nonsensical than before.

No, the reason that people oftentimes stick to their own kind is that as far as humans go, like attracts like. Plenty of people see past race, but regardless of whether you care about your partner's race or not, being the same race does allow you to relate more, even if only in one small way, to a person.
