Well even if they could reverse some of the aging process I doubt it could bring true immortality there might be some parts of the body that chemicals alone can't restore.

Really there's still a lot of questions about the aging process in general. Or even the Telomere theory.

There is. Telomerase renews telomeres. Problem is it does that for cancer cells as well as healthy cells. In-fact, telomerase is the reason cancer cells are biologically immortal to begin with.
