My mom definitely wants a grandkid - and, quite honestly, the thought of having a grandkid because she wants one isn't such a bad thought for me. She's given so much and to symbolically "give" her a grandkid doesn't sound like such a bad way to pay her back - other than, you know, actually paying her back.

Kids are part of my future - but not yet, of course. For now, I train with a dog. The goodest boy ever - and my mom loves him too!

I'm honestly terrified of having a child and having them meet my siblings or my mother and have them in their life as role models.

If anything, when I have my own kids, I will be sure to visit my mom and all, as long as she's not with my brother anymore.

My NS stats are not indicative of my OOC views. NS stats are meant to be rather silly. My OOC political and ideological inspirations are as such:
The Republic, by Plato | Leviathan, by Thomas Hobbes | The Confucian civil service system of imperial China | The "Golden Liberty" elective
monarchy system of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth | The corporatist/technocratic philosophy of Henri de Saint-Simon | The communitarian
ideological framework of the Singaporean People's Action Party | "New Deal"-style societal regimentation | Kantian/Mohist/Stoic philosophy

Calculus is alright, if you have pre-calc first or you read up on trig, analytic geometry, and algebra.

I could do algebra, just not the way they wanted me to. I always got marked off because I'd do it without any work, or not follow the steps they wanted me to do. Eventually, I just stopped caring.

I was the same way. In the end I could care less. I knew I had it right, and if they wanted to mark me off just because I didn't show up my work I could give a fuck less. I still placed the right answer.

The teacher's reasoning? "Well I know you got the right answer, it's right there on the paper, but I need to see the work to see that you did it correctly". It was bullshit. The answer is right, what else do you need to know?

One teacher correctly pointed it out to me when she saw me oversimplifying (also, was my chemistry teacher), she told me, basically "go with your first thought, don't doubt yourself because you're very good at mathematics, you just overthink it".

I got accused of cheating more often than not. I had one algebra teacher though that let me slide simply because he'd watch me work, he moved me closer to his desk until he was sure I wasn't cheating. We started doing presentations after that where we'd use the board and show others how we got the answers we did. I got the rest of my math credits to graduate by helping the school's IT and writing programs.

What I used to do in tests is that I did the work in a separate sheet of paper and then I'd put in my answer on the paper. It just looks cleaner.

One of my teachers eventually caught up to it though and always asked for my worksheets.

It looked cleaner overall. One of my teachers eventually caught up to it though and always asked for my worksheets.

My problem is that I had trouble doing it by the steps they wanted. It didn't make sense to me, or I could do it in my head and had trouble putting that on paper. They'd want you to balance an equation in 8 solid steps -- where they /had/ to be this way, but I usually did it in 2 or 3. It was bad because some tests they marked off for each step you missed. My worst grade in algebra was an 8 because of it.

My way of mathematical notation might seem odd to some, but I just used the paper as note-taking, basically.

I'd draw arrows and everything to point me to where the answer was.

Later on I learned how to do mathematical work more effectively to show my logic, but even then, there is a marked difference between what I show for work and my personal math notes.

Mostly because with the hours I have right now I would have a master's *nods*

I remember once, when I was in Eighth Grade, when I was off my meds, I thought of an idea for a fanfic:

A crossover between Axis Powers Hetalia, The SCP Foundation, and Minecraft.

Does that seem stupid?
