What games were these two cities playing? Also, that's a lot of people on each team with entire cities.

PRetty much a bunch of ice skaters with weapons trying to kill each other. Sometimes they hit a puck into a net to get a loud buzzer sound.

I approve of making noise. *nods* Still, Mayhem On Ice seems counterintuitive, though there was that incident with Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan.

yeah but, in this case i am ok with her being a drama llama,

though between the two i am sure tonya was better between the sheets
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.

Yes. If we are lucky, Farn will keep us from slipping down the path of Tanya Harding's sexcapades on ice.

That could be dangerous in that instance.

Why must some random friend of my roommate show up at our door at midnight as if that is acceptable behavior? Why must my friend invite him in?

Indeed.

The tape in question was not a "sex tape," it was an explicit "wedding video." Harding and her husband got $200,000 from Penthouse for it. It's only a "sex tape" if you don't want people watching it. Also, "On August 12, 2010, Harding set a new land speed record for a vintage gas coupe with a speed of 97.177 mph driving a 1931 Ford Model A, named Lickity-Split, on the Bonneville Salt Flats." The mind boggles.
