When I think back over 10,000 posts on NS, I remember them as 10,000 moments in my life where I fostered and developed friendships with a myriad of NSers--some of whom remain and some of whom have left for various reasons-- over my 11+ years on this wonderful site. You've all helped get me to this number and I look forward to the next 10,000 posts to share with you, my friends!

Well, my friend assures me that the head of my department leaving is a God-given opportunity to take and run with in trying to convince my mother that transferring is the right option.
