If all states suddenly split and go to war, who would win?

If nukes hit the fan, states with very minimal populations and huge amounts of land, such as Idaho, Alaska, and Montana would come at on top. Idaho is one of best places for the apocalypse, low population, plenty of land, plenty fertile land, plenty of animals, plenty of guns. Of course perhaps Putin may invade Alaska. If nukes are used I don't think strategic military installations and vital infrastructure would be hit like how we would expect the Russians and Chinese to do. More so trying to totally eliminate the other other player. States with silos in them will be wholly destroyed, and the large population centers will also be decimated. California, Texas, New York, and Florida would all be radiated dead zones.

If nukes are not used, I imagine Oregon and Washington banning together (Cascadia) the North Western and perhaps the plains states forming a coalition, California doing it's own thing, the CSA, the creation of New England, Texas, and then New York.

saw this on Reddit and was intrigued by the Concept, so i thought i would bring it over here to see what you folks thought.

I'm from Central Florida myself, so i reckon we'd be on the frontlines potentially. Florida would probably ally with the former confederacy. Texas would probably take over Oklahoma pretty fast. California and New York would dominate their immediate areas, the West coast and New England, respectively.

What do you guys think? What would happen to your state? Would you return to your native sod?

No one state could win, if one becomes a threat others would band together and destroy it, then the alliance would break apart, repeat.

Also there would be constant gorilla warfare if certain parts were taken over, one that come to me first are the Rockies, appalachians, northern boundary waters, swamps in the south, etc

Canada would see opportunities to the South in the ensuring division and quarrelling of the States.

Trudeau would declare Canada an Empire and annex as much of the former USA as he can. He would be declared King in the North. By the war's conclusion, most of the USA would have fallen to the Canadian Empire.

However, a Conservative MP would betray Trudeau for "ignoring his advice at every turn" and take over the Empire as the new King of Canada.
