Can you give statistics on how many creationists are in critical condition?

Religion isn't denying realty.

However, plenty of racists seem to have no trouble denying realty.

Not seeing that all humans are equal and believing in a "master race" seems to have diminished there mental state.

'Hate Speech' is just code word for "Hurt tendies."

There are people that deny the Holocaust, yes. Those aren't 'lies', those are just 'misguided beliefs.'

You could argue that 9/11 'truthers' are very similar to Holocaust deniers. They're changing the facts of a historical event to suit their political goals. they're not the first nor will they be the last group to misrepresent or cover up facts for their own political purposes.

Freedom of speech is one of the major cornerstones of a democratic society. It is our job as a society to reject hate speech and counteract the lies that threaten our freedoms. But banning them... I shudder to think of our government, or any government really, shutting down websites, banning people and legal prosecution against people whose ideas are merely repulsive or repugnant.

I think a lot of this has a lot less to do with the actual danger of the Nazi Party taking over again(fat chance) and a lot more to do with protecting the feelings of a lot of social justice warriors who did not grow up with the sufficient fortitude to deal with opinions that question the legitimacy of their own views. They fundamentally disagree with these groups, so they resort to authoritarian tactics to try and crush the idea they disagree with.

Let's be real; this has nothing to do with protecting minorities or democracy, neither of which are threatened by the couple thousand people who actually believe such nonsense. This is nothing more than tyranny by the majority.

Prosecuting people for political speech, no matter how repugnant, is against the natural human rights of man.

Don't look to the Neo-nazis when looking for a threat to our freedoms; the greatest threats to our freedom come from those cloaked in the American flag, talking about protecting our freedom, democracy and security from subversive foreign threats.

The Patriot act and the Iraq war resolution were both bipartisan legislation.

There may be two parties, but there is only one team. The American​ team. And we are all get fucked by both parties.

Subscribing to this whole Republican vs Democrat, liberal vs conservative narrative undermines our country. Most Americans are somewhere in the middle and I caution you when it comes to making generalizations.
