Personally, I am of the mindset that health insurance is just a failing system in and of itself that should have died last century.

It's not sustainable to have a population eternally betting against itself on the risk of getting sick.

I mean, if health insurance wasn't such a shit model of healthcare I would be for it. But it is. And it isn't sustainable. And the simple fact is, everyone needs to go to the doctor at least once in their lifetime. It is ridiculous you have to bet against yourself to not get sick.

Maybe your state doesn't take care of its roads as well as it should. That doesn't befall on the rest of the states.

a few years back a bug flew into my husband's ear. I was out of town and it turns out that you cant get a bug out of your own ear. it was late at night so he went to the emergency room. they took the bug out of his ear.

it cost $900.

insurance paid for it.
