Given Trump lies more than he tells the truth, his claiming such makes it less believable, not more.

I'm inclined to believe it, but mostly because I think all candidates probably have this done to them, along with anyone in a position to upset the status quo.

He is not facing serious problems. It is common place for government officials to meet with ambassadors. Did you know that the Russian ambassador visited the Obama White House 22 times? Did you know Obama knew that Russia was interfering with the election during September 2015? He did nothing about it. And is it not too common for a Senator and member of the Arm's Service Committee, (Sessions) to meet with the Russian Ambassador at least once? And there is no evidence they discussed the campaign. At least Sessions wasn't like your friend Schumer who was enjoying a donut with the murderous Putin or Pelosi who lied about meeting with the Russian Ambassador when she actually did meet with him? Wasn't it smart that Sessions recused himself from the investigation about Russia, while Loretta Lynch never did when she met with Bill several days before the verdict on the emails? The fact is that Trump has inspired Americans, even Democrats, with his optimistic speech on Tuesday and the Left can't handle it, so they are causing hysteria. The Left is becoming less credible each day, and maybe that's why many people believe Trump's claim. It is not all too surprising actually, as the Left has been instigating violence against Trump voters and Republicans in an organized manner.

I can't argue with the fact that Trump has inspired people. That's great; he's given them something to believe in. My issue with that lies in the fact that his rhetoric often is very aggressive and extreme. Second, out of curiosity, I haven't heard of any attacks on Trump supporters; is there a link to a source you could provide? Thanks.

This could be a political scandal larger than Watergate if it is true. It goes as follows: then President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower in October 2016. However, there has been no evidence of this unwarranted interference. But could this be another scandal to add to Obama's already tarred legacy, (IRS Scandal, Benghazi, Fast and Furious Scandal?) This discussion forum was created to engage a debate on this issue, and discuss if Trump's claim is true or false, and Obama's actions, (that is, if his actually administration carried them out) are justified or a violation of the Constitution.

Visiting the Russian ambassador is not the problem, lying under oath is. Also private citizens are not allowed to interfere with foreign affairs that's a class 1 felony.

It has been shown that the Clinton Campaign had paid violent protesters to attend Trump rallies. And for the violence, it has been seen in many places, including universities. One video at Berkeley showed a woman wearing a Trump hat being pepper sprayed by protesters and a man getting attacked on a subway. I actually have had a personal experience with a violent, anti-Trump protester after a Trump rally I attended, where two people had to hold back that man from running up to me, who was about to engage in a fist fight.
