What is the best-sounding F1 car in history?

Title says it all. F1 cars are known for having powerful engines that usually sound nice. Which was the best sounding one? In my opinion, the V12 Ferraris were the best sounding ones because they rev extremely high and have that nice sound specific to V12s.

1950s I like for throatiness.

Though I wouldn't say that F1 is known for big engines. Early on they were at their biggest at shy of 5 liters.

They're under 3 liters now. Just...very very high strung.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Oh yeah, you're right. I've fixed it now.

According to this Wikipedia article, they currently use 1.6l V6 turbocharged engines. Wouldn't it be great if they changed the rules to allow up to 4.0l naturally aspirated engines with unrestricted cylinder numbers?

The General Car Thread is better for that discussion.
