Ahhh yes the rather irrational fears of the faaaaaaaaaaaaar right. You might have a chance in the backwaters of Britain and the US but not the Great Chairwoman that is our Mother.
I don´t care what some fringe group with extreme positions says about Germany and Merkel on the internet when the reality in Germany is something like this right now :https://gifsound.com/?gif=cdn.playbuzz.com/cdn/7ca0e428-df83-46e5-83aa-aa3c2405dec8/5909cfe6-013a-4ee1-a4eb-1b295ff2ba06.jpg&v=qV5lzRHrGeg&s=42
You can decide for yourself whether to hate or love her with a passion, after all we are still a free country. But I am tired of hearing about stuff that happened 2 years ago and about useless criticism like Merkel wants to replace her own people. I mean come on, nobody will take you serious if you say something like that.

Jepp, it really is tiring.
Every video on YT involving modern Germany has a couple of commenters talking about how they're sad for germans, how they wish for us to stand up against our regime, how Merkel is a traitorous bitch that deserves to be shot. It really really really is tiring.

Best part is if they talk about censorship, yet I still can read their comments, even if they are coming from Germany itself.
I miss the old days when we Merkel was the iron fist dictator of Europe and not the white genocide Angie.

Most likely Merkel will win another term. Either her or Schultz, who is only slightly worse.

Uh huh. The German government censors a lot more stuff than the average "free country".
Who are you working for huh? CDU or SDP? or some other imperialist establishment party? Denying that there's heavy censorship in Germany is an outright lie and either you don't know what you're talking about or you're working for them.New Pantuxia wrote:Most likely Merkel will win another term. I'd rather Merkel because I know she's intelligent and will step up her immigration policies, only slightly, but still stepped up, to remain in power. The AfD's 40-60 or so seats along with the CSU who I believe are a bit harder on immigrant, could be enough to put pressure on the CDU to step it up further.

Of course, censoring one thing people feel strongly about and little else is heavy censorship.

Capping two days of often bitter debate on its platform and personnel, the Alternative for Germany appointed two chief candidates: 76-year-old Alexander Gauland, a hardline defector from Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU, and Alice Weidel, 38, an openly lesbian former investment banker.

The AfD is not led by a lesbian. You probably mean Alice Weidel, one of the chief candidates for the election. Leaders are still Petry and Meuthen.Capping two days of often bitter debate on its platform and personnel, the Alternative for Germany appointed two chief candidates: 76-year-old Alexander Gauland, a hardline defector from Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU, and Alice Weidel, 38, an openly lesbian former investment banker.

Funny that you mention Wagenknecht´s comment. I saw it on TV and one of the commentaters said, that she tries to stop the AfD from siphoning voters from the Linke. Mostly in the New States I assume, as both parties enjoy their highest support there.

Well both of their ideologies are equally dangerous for this country.

Do not worry, as long as the great helmswoman is in charge every coalition is a wonderful one. It´s like with our neighbours in terms of parliament size (China and NK) that the other smaller parties are just there for show, especially in a coalition.

To be honest, I prefer Merkel's thoughtless and spineless back-and-forth blundering over the distant possibility of a SPD-Linke-Grüne nightmare coalition driving full steam ahead with regressive progressiveness.
