Trump Reverses The Transgender Bathroom Directive

Y'know, I see a lot of the people for Trump's decision on this or generally against transitioning or allowing transgender people using the bathrooms of their identity (as they should) tend to either know very little/nothing about what being transgender is or means, nor about how gender dysphoria vs gender identity works, or they tend to get their information from very biased anti-LGBT sources.

In even rarer cases, it seems, they deny that scientific consensus about things means they are fact and would rather it be left up to individual interpretation or something else ridiculous like that.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

I've noticed. Can't they just live and let live? I mean, if they don't like transgenders, they could just avoid that person and not interfere with their life. If fhey're minding their business I don't see the threat that some people take it as. Transgender people are a minority or people who are like that because of the brain they have, yet people act like it's a cult trying to take over the world just because they want to pee. Silly if you ask me that people get so worked up over it. We're not man eating zombies.
We have bigger things to worry about, like making sure Trump handles his diplomacy well so he doesn't cause a war on accident.

TBH I don't really understand how this will actually affect any trans people... Even if there was a bathroom bouncer waiting outside of restrooms to check everyone's identification to make sure they are the gender of the bathroom they want to use, which is ridiculous as it is, I don't know of a single state that doesn't let people change the gender listed on their IDs.

Personally, I don't have any issues with who can use the bathroom. The US has been plagued by the puritan crap for far too long.

Letting children present as their preferred gender is not letting them make a permanent life decision. You do realize they can't take hormones until they reach the age where they're old enough to give informed consent, right? They can take puberty blockers, but these are easily reversible by just taking adolescents off of them.
