A planet composed almost entirely of gold, that they have been ordered to name "The Trump Interplanetary Hotels Trump Planet".

Wow, I don't want to even think what the gravity would be like on a world that dense.

as far as worlds go, and assuming its around the same size as earth, probably not incredibly intense (compared to some other planets in our solar system). Significantly less than Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus, anyway. Probably 2, maybe as much as 3 times our own gravity.

idk, they held in water on mars pretty well, and that press conference was announced well in advance. This one was only announced like, today or yesterday. I'd imagine it'd be a big deal if they're rushing to the conference.

Doubt it. I mean, it'd be a pretty big deal. The Russians, Chinese or Japanese, etc... would have announced it. People often underestimate how many space agencies there are, and big discoveries like this couldn't go unnoticed for long.

I mean, I doubt its life they're announcing, but if it is, its completely feasible that one of the worlds best funded, most well equipped agencies is the first to discover it, manages to keep it under wraps long enough to confirm it, and announces a press conference for the next day. Or, perhaps more likely, have discovered it, but can't confirm it, which would mean they'd be announcing the conference within days of the initial discovery.

Which could explain why the conference seems to be being rushed along - although in all likelihood im just reading into it, since im almost certain its not about alien life, anyway. At least, not absolute proof or nearly absolute proof.
