Having lots of experience with jersey transit. ... I can not argue the devil point.

I can see this... take the bus to the El, the El downtown, hop onto PATCO, then hop onto NJ Transit... 6 hours later I'm in Atlantic City having to turn right back around to return home :P

Truth be told.. I can hop NJT from 30th Street Station and get to AC in about an hour and a half.

Gotta question, Ethel.. since you're with MTA. How does one get from Penn Station in NYC down to WTC?

Subway, a c or e train to chambers street.

When are you planning on going.

Well, I want to wait a bit until the weather is generally nicer. I could go Saturday, but I may wait until the 8th of April. I get paid the 7th and 22nd, so with April 7th's check being 12 days I could splurge.

During the week I could probably make a dinner date. Saturdays are tough as that is chore day. I work within walking distance of the wtc.

Hmmm..... I think a weekday might be better. I won't say it'll be less touristy, but at least I know the trains run on a better schedule during the week. I could even use PTO and get paid to visit NYC. I'm liking that idea.

It's when Mrs. Mermania makes him take all the liquids out of the fridge and put them back in the proper way.

The museums are less crowded during the week though, as on weekends is when the locals go.

I just want to get out of Philadelphia for day without losing the big city atmosphere. That's where New York comes in. It's close, doesn't cost too much to get there, and there's literally a million things to do. I also need restaurant recommendations. Even if we do a dinner thing, I still have to eat lunch (I'm thinking Deli sandwich). I plan to be in NYC from early till late depending on trains back to Trenton and Philly.
