In all the announcements by my professors in classes that they refused to sign the new, anti-LGBT employee contract to continue working here, I was never expecting the head of the cyber security program to announce to us that he will not be returning next year.

I always thought he was super conservative and anti-LGBT himself.

Well screw the school for requiring something like that anyway. Wish there were ready options for all the students who aren't in favor of the same so they could see a rapid drop in their income, but alas. Sad state when the only thing that seems to get results is the influx or lack of money.

I have no idea if the college gets federal funding - or how much if it does - since it is a private institution, but if it does receive federal funding I hope it loses it. I've been in the process of trying to transfer for about a month now and hope to be at another college come next semester.

Numerous professors and students have expressed anger towards the Community Life Covenant - the contract is called. Alumni have also expressed anger. The administration has expressed no concern except for one meeting the President and Vice President had for the students as an open forum for questions - staff and alumni barred from attending - and the meeting resulted in many good questions being largely unanswered and no word of a second open forum.
