In vaguely heart-related news, the fanfic I'm reading has an asexual protagonist. I think this might be the only thing I've read in which an asexual person is the main character.

Considering that the heart pumps blood through the chicken's body for the duration of its life, that's hardly surprising.

Yes, but it's funnier to point it out. Cow tongue, liver, chicken hearts and gizzards, blood sausage and onions, and dandelion greens were and are the staple of my family's diet. Yet, that's really odd to many people. :P

A bit odd perhaps. I've tried all of those except the gizzards.

Just spent two hours in the chapel praying and singing with a lot of other students as we've all gotten the news that our track coach is in the hospital after a car accident in the next town over - apparently the other driver was fleeing from police at 100 MPH and hit six other cars.
