Guards Tank Armies did tend to be better than the average one, and the fact is the SS Corps slaughtered two of them. As for that kill ratio, it was 8 to 1 at least, and this followed the Panzer III's stellar year in 1942 as evidenced by my previously citation.

You cannot draw sweeping conclusions from a single point of data.

Which I never did, and you full well know that. I cited the losses of 1941, 1942, and the performance of the Panzer III in 1943 at Kursk. When you're consistently seeing good results, you can't just explain it away.

The explanation is not necessarily that the tank is better, as you still have to take a lot of other factors into account.

Novus America represents my vision of an awesome Atompunk near future United States of America expanded to the entire North American continent, Guyana and the Philippines. The population would be around 700 million.
Think something like prewar Fallout, minus the bad stuff.

Politically I am an independent. I support what is good for the country, which means I cannot support either party.

That is 2.87 million men at arms in the entire armed forces.

For the most part, these divisions are far flung and everywhere.

There is the active insurgency in Poland they are fighting, problems with putting the new Soviet puppet states in line, and overall fixing the damage of years of warfare.
