I say Russia, China, Japan and South Korea divide it into 4.
That rings a bell.

Russia would rather have Samsung TV's than a world war.

A reunification of Korea would not even be comparable to the issues we saw with German reunification.

Socialism had less to do with it. It was more like a corrupt military dictatorship that didn't care for the people that made them completely isolated from the outside world.

That is almost the same excuse for every socialist state (and all them failed afaik). So uhhh I suppose socialism is a corrupt military dictatorship that doesn't care for their people, what made them completely isolated from the outside world?

Cuba is a military corrupt mafia state dictatorship for life as well as North Korea. I think the 2 North Koreans I used too work with would agree with me. The Nicaraguan lady I used to work with, who lost her 3 brothers fighting for the Nicaraguan Contras, against the Sandinista communist socialists, supported by most liberal democrats in congress, who was sent to Cuba for 2 years as so called voluntary labor on a government farm, and had to sing anti American, anti capitalists songs and slogans, like no pasaran, they shall not pass, would agree with me. The Vietnamese lady I used to work with. All 4 governments the same.
