This joke could have almost been "funny" (at least compared to what you have accustomed us to) if 1) I was still watching T.V for anything but the news and 2) this show actually got broadcasted on French television.

I realize that there have been occasions of public excess, mostly sexual.

This is regrettable because it should be all about fun.

I have a friend who is a retired Navy man, now working as a Pirate of the Caribbean at Orlando. He made his lovely wife a complete head-to-toe costume as a white horse, and when Disney gave them a complementary cruise she went in costume. There were some clever adaptations made in the costume for dining etc.

He and I are on the message boards for an anthropomorphic comics site, The Belfry, wonderful place, very user friendly. My favorites offerings there are Kevin and Kell, FreeFall, Ozy and Millie, Namir Dieter, and les Aventures de Fifine.

Some of my favorites have now closed, but their archives are worth a look: Acid Reflux, Unicorn Jelly, Mynarski Woods, and Undoubtedly Kawaii.

In my opinion, the furry fanbase is a bit weird for my tastes. Let them do whatever they want though, as long as they do not affect me, or try to "brainwash" me into joining the furry fanbase.

Hehe, the last fur con I was at was on the same day as a football grand final. There were football fans on one side of the road, furries on the other, and people were crossing the road to avoid the football nuts and coming over to us.

Bland, irrelavant, and wrong. As stated before, furry is not a sexual act, despite what you might have seen on CSI, a show whose writers appear to have written solely for the stupid punchliness with the sunglasses thing that guy does.

I don't really know enough about that subculture to form any kind of opinion about them. I've never met any furries, don't know anyone who has, and most of my information about them comes from (mostly rather unflattering) internet sources of questionable reliability.

So I am going to withhold any judgement on the furry subculture, asides from that they seem harmless.
