That is pretty much how it was depicted. Now obviously, such an absurd scenario never happened. I doubt the person dressed up in a Winnie the Pooh outfit with a ukulele was even a real furry. But point is, I found it funny enough; must've been the narrator's voice. I know actual furries are probably different but just to teasingly give them a bit of a hard time, that is what I think of if someone mentions that they're a furry. "Oh, you mean people who dress up in animal costumes and get together for certain activities?"

I find animal anthropomorphism in general to be disgusting on a lot of levels (among which aestheticals and meaningfuls ones are the most important) personally. Not saying that it actually is nor judging you for liking it but that's merely my view of it.

Grown-up peoples wearing animal suits and imitating them as part of a sexual fetish is something I would definitely call decadent.
If it's the use of the term itself that you find weird, it might simply come from the fact that I'm thinking of the meaning the French term "décadent" carry but in the context I guess another term I could have used that would have been more fitting is "degenerate" tho it would have had a way more judgemental connotation that I'm not necessarily intending.
