Very little - but he is embroiled in a Flynn-esque scandal and is insisting that he will crack down hard on marijuana. Two things I can't really support, and it's only been 4 weeks.

This scandal seems to be pretty minor, however, and while you might not agree with cracking down on marijuana (not really a big issue for most people anyway), this certainly does not put him near the level of Eric Holder.

The coverup and failure to turn in subpoenaed records - well, that responsibility does lie heavily on Holder. Holder lied at his testimony to the Judicial committee and was an overall subpar AG. Regardless of your partisan affiliation, it is telling that many Democrats wanted him gone as well, it wasn't a purely partisan thing.

As for Gonzales - he authorized enhanced interrogation and allowed warrantless surveillance of US citizens, which I'd argue is unconstitutional.

So yeah, both scumbags.

now if it was just at the convention i would shrug it off. but he met with the ambassador in his office. it is certainly enough that he has to recuse himself, which he has done, and ought to be investigated to make sure it was innocent, which it very well may have been.

It seems reasonably clear to me, especially in hindsight, that he said he has no contact with the Russians concerning the campaign. And he has stuck by that. There doesn't seem to be any grounds for an official investigation, especially considering he supposedly met with many other ambassadors in his capacity as a senator, and the Russian ambassador would therefore seem to be just another one on the list.
