Good to know there was more voting against their self interests. Doubt Trump is going to be helping along a minimum wage increase right now.

Normally I'd say yes given Trump's approach, but the general decades decline of the overall purchasing power from the minimum wagehas made the present living wage something of a more visible issue than it might have been two elections ago. I really don't think we will know before he presents policy on the issue.

War plan red was a secret contingency plan, in some hypothetical timeline. It was conditional on certain events happening first - namely, a war with Britain. It wasn't written up because our military leaders of the time wanted a war with Britain.

Trump's public position is that he wants to go in to Syria, and intervene to try to fix their situation for them. Right now, under current, non-hypothetical conditions.

If you can't see how that's a ridiculous false equivalence, I don't know how to help you.

Trump: "I want to intervene! Like really really badly!"
Nope, that doesn't sound interventionist at all.

Yeah, you might want to summarise. I'm a legalist, not a military man. I'll get to the specifics when my country calls up the reserves, thank you very much.

More like relevance to an open statement that never came true.

You'll need to read that particular one and two more (With additional classes) to understand military decision making.

Still, just about the only thing less popular than Trump is the mainstream media so it might have been an opportune time for this fight. Popcorn to follow regardless.

An open statement of intent.

How does intending to intervene not make one interventionist?

You think I'm going to explain to you 3 months worth of classes in one paragraph? Tough luck. The page I presented summarizes the key points in the brief.

Do you think I'm going to read, apparently, 3 months of classes, or take your word on it? I'm really not doing either.

The point stands, the Trump administration is dangerously close to sending ground troops to Syria, both based on Trump's rhetoric and the Pentagon's planning.

I'm siding with Uxo here. Planning is just what the military does when it's not fighting, sometimes while it is fighting

Sure, but preferably less shitty ones than CNN, MSNBC, ect.

I got no problem with these two dogs going against each-other. It would be simplistic to take this as an attack on the idea of an independent media, however much CNN will attempt to make that portrait.
