"In response to a question Thursday about threats to Jewish centers nationwide, President Donald Trump called a Jewish reporter a liar, told him to sit down and later said anti-Semitism was coming from "the other side.""
This is disgusting and the way he handled this completely dismissed the Jewish community's entirely valid concerns about an uptick in hate crimes, hate speech, and other incidents of an anti-semitic nature. I don't know if Trump is personally anti-semitic, but he truly does not care about anyone other than white, Christian men.

In Trump's own words:WAAAAAAAHHH! THE PRESS IS UNFAIR!!! THEY ARE FAKE!!! BOO-HOO!!!'
Holding a press conference because you think the Press is being unfair to you is the most worthless waste of fucking time and resources imaginable. Bush didn't hold a Press conference every time the Press made fun of him, and Obama didn't either whenever Fox News made a stupid as shit, and ultimately false, claim. Trump is the God-Damn President, and needs to fucking grow up and toughen up.
Sooner or later his supporters are going to realize they elected a 70-year-old manchild to the highest office in the land, and his constant crying about how the media is unfair to him is only damaging him more than anything. He's a fucking child who has had everybody just give him whatever he wanted for so long, and now that people are calling him out he can't handle it.
Gravlen wrote:Do we need a new election 2020 megathread? You know, since Trump is holding his first campaign rally on saturday...Less than a month into office, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the first rally since his inauguration.
The President tweeted an announcement for the rally set for Saturday in Melbourne, Florida.
"Join me in Florida this Saturday at 5pm for a rally at the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport!" Trump tweeted.
An administration official said Trump would rally supporters at an airport hangar there, the same venue where he held a rally in September.
Trump is slated to arrive at the rally by landing at the airport on Air Force One and disembarking in front of the crowd, just as he did during the campaign, the official said.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said on Wednesday the event was a campaign rally and directed questions about it to "the campaign." He said Trump's campaign was paying for it but didn't offer further details.
Trump indicated in a form sent to the Federal Election Commission on Inauguration Day that he intended to run for President again, but noted it did not constitute the formal announcement of his 2020 candidacy.
Last week, the Office of Special Counsel issued guidance for federal bureaucrats with regard to the nascent re-election effort.

It's pretty ambiguous as to what extent he cares about Christians.

Oh are you kidding me? He's flirted big time with the Evangelicals ever since stepping into office, and we were afraid we'd be parked straight under the bus for political expedience.
He could not have warmed up more with his white audience even if he made anime real.

I'm pretty sure the only people Donald Trump cares about are Orange "Christian" Men who are 70 years old, former reality TV stars, and happen to be named Donald Jon Trump.

CNN wrote:The measure would allow insurers to sell a wider array of policies, including those with more limited benefits and lower premiums. It would let Americans sock away $5,000 in health savings accounts (HSA) tax-free, up from $3,400 this year, while also enabling those who buy their own coverage to deduct the premiums from their incomes. It would protect those with pre-existing conditions as long as they had continuous coverage.
The bill would also allow people and small business owners to band together through professional associations to purchase insurance, with the goal of decreasing the cost through greater numbers. And it would permit insurers to sell policies across state lines.

It sounds downright brilliant in comparison to the ACA.

I would need to see this plan of course... because I've heard nothing besides "repeal and replace". I'd be interested in hearing exactly what ways they could improve the ACA, because I do doubt that anything the GOP comes up would be better.
